Volunteer

Help increase the number of homes built by Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake by volunteering at the ReStore! Volunteers must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Click here for a summary of ReStore volunteer opportunities.

Store Volunteer
Activities include:
- Greet and assist customers
- Clean and prep donations
- Receive drop-off donations

Time Commitment: Partial or full day shifts available Tuesday through Saturday during store hours. We request that Store Volunteers commit to volunteering on a consistent basis. (Ex: once a week, once every two weeks, once a month).

Donation Pickup Assistant
Activities include:
- Assist the ReStore Donation Coordinator in picking up donated items
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; squat, bend, and climb in/out of box-truck
- Help the ReStore staff with projects as needed

Time Commitment: Full day shifts available Tuesday through Saturday during store hours.
